About
More than thirty years of helping businesses grow with technology.
Same founder. Evolving names. A wider set of services as our clients needed them — from a first computer company in 1992 to Business Technology Consultants, LLC today.
Eddie Ranschaert has worked in information technology since 1990. In 1992 he founded his first computer company, CompuTECH, to help small businesses understand their technology and grow with it. That idea has not changed, even as the company name has.
CompuTECH served from 1992 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999 the company was IndyITGuru. From 1999 to 2021 it operated as Ranschaert Enterprise. In 2021 it became Business Technology Consultants, LLC, the name we use today. Through each chapter, Eddie stayed at the center of the work.
What began as help for small businesses learning to use computers expanded as those businesses asked for more. Over the years that has come to include custom development, business phone systems, and the full range of services we offer now — managed IT, networks, backup, hosting and email, software and integrations, and practical AI.
